Independent Television Network Limited is a Sri Lankan state governed television and radio broadcaster located in Wickramasinhapura, Battaramulla.

Founded by Upali Wijewardene in 1978, Upali Newspapers (Pvt) Limited is a publishing house which produces the English language newspaper, The Island, and the Sinhala language newspaper, Divaina. Although the company was incorporated in 1978, publications of the Divaina Irida Sangrahaya and the Sunday Island commenced in October, 1981.

Virakesari is one of the leading Tamil daily newspapers in Sri Lanka. It is the oldest and the largest circulated Tamil Newspaper in Sri Lanka. Virakesari is owned by Express Newspapers Limited (Official Tamil Print Media Sponsor 2009-2020).
